Sikora Biography

Meet SIKORA, the SoCal musical duo that fuses everyday life with songwriting and music creation. Based in Los Angeles, Matthew Sikora and Liz Forde are partners in both music and in life. The fiercely independent team has carved out a niche for themselves by transforming old TV themes into irresistible anthems, earning prestigious awards like “Best Pop Rock Artist,” with their songs featured in a multitude of shows and films.

They are best known for creating the theme songs for NBC News Daily, Stay Tuned Now, and Top Story with Tom Llamas, as well as composing the current theme for IMSA Car Racing on NBC. Their past work includes the 2018-2021 theme for Wednesday Night Hockey on NBC Sports and the 2018 College Football theme on FOX. Their music has also been featured in a wide range of sports programming, including the NFL, MLB, The French Open, Nascar, Premier League Soccer, UFC Fight Night, the 2021 Tokyo Olympics, and most recently, the 2024 Paris Olympics theme for Peacock’s 'Gold Zone.’

SIKORA's music has not just revved up sports events but has also added a vibrant note to numerous TV shows and movies including “NCIS” “Around the World in 80 Days” "A Christmas Prince: The Royal Baby” “The Last Summer” “Vanderpump Rules” “The Kissing Booth" and “Dateline.”

Showcasing a distinct fusion of genres, their latest 2023 releases, Painted Lady, After Dark, Gone, and Sweet Talking, stand as testament to their unique approach to music creation and their ability to seamlessly blend diverse styles.
